How to order tickets?

How to order tickets


 It’ easy to order tickets! You can do it in three ways:

  1. online via this website;
  2. by calling 0900 – 8411 (only accessible in the Netherlands);
  3. at the BODY WORLDS ticket desk.


Choose your purchasing channel wisely


The entrance fees differ between online and offline ticket purchases. Ticket rates are lower when ordering tickets online or by phone than when purchasing at the ticket desk at BODY WORLDS.
Because we strive to keep entrance lines short, or eliminate them altogether, online purchases allow us to anticipate the number of visitors per entrance time slot so as not to overcrowd the exhibitions.

How to order your tickets online, via this website:
  1. Go to the ticketpage.
  2. Choose a date and entrance time slot (starting time) for your visit.
    (Gray boxes indicate time slots that are not available, please select another time slot)
  3. Select a ticket type by clicking on the arrows up or down, or fill in the desired number of tickets in the text box to the right of the ticket price.
  4. Click the orange ‘Add to shopping cart’ button on the lower right-hand side of the screen.
  5. You are now in your shopping cart. Check your order. Is this correct? Click on the button ‘Continue’.
  6. Fill in your details and create an account by entering a password.
    (If you already have an account, please click on the ‘existing account’ button at the top of the screen and your details will be filled in automatically)
  7. Check your order and click the bottom right on ‘Pay’.
  8. Chooce ‘Pay with Ogone’ and choose your payment method. (iDeal or VISA/Mastercard)
  9. Click ‘Continue’ and you’ll be automatically redirected to the payment page.
  10. Your tickets will be sent to you by email. Please note that this might take a few minutes; please make sure to check your spam inbox.
How to order tickets by phone:
Dial 0900 – 84 11 for our ticket service. Calling this number costs 45 cents per minute. A service agent from will answer your call and help you place your order.

Please note: This phone number is only available in the Netherlands and not accessible from foreign phones.

How to order tickets at the ticket desk:
Ticket desk staff at BODY WORLDS will be happy to help you purchase tickets. The ticket desk is situated at the entrance of the museum at Damrak 66 in Amsterdam.


Please note: Entrance fees to BODY WORLDS are higher when purchasing at the ticket desk than when buying online or by phone. Once inside BODY WORLDS, you can no longer buy tickets at our lower online rates.

Important information when ordering tickets



When you order tickets, you create a new user account with a new password. Creating an account makes it easy to order tickets for your next visit.

Family ticket

A family ticket is less expensive than purchasing four separate tickets for a family. A family ticket is valid for 2 adults and 2 children, or 1 adult and 3 children.

Tickets not sent by mail

Tickets will not be sent to your home address by mail, but are sent to your email address. Please print your e-tickets or have them saved on your smartphone to show on the day of your visit to BODY WORLDS. Upon arriving, you won’t have to go to the ticket desk and can go directly to the exhibition entrance gate.

Entrance time slots

When ordering tickets, you will be asked to select a date and time for your visit. In particular, you will be asked to select a specific 30-minute time slot, for example from 11:00-11:30. This entitles you to exhibition entry within that 30-minute period. Once you’ve passed ticket check, you are more than welcome to spend as much time viewing the exhibition as you like, within opening hours.

Entrance time slots prevent our exhibitions from becoming overcrowded during peak times, so that everyone can enjoy viewing the exhibition in a fun and unhurried atmosphere.
If you miss your entrance time slot, we’ll do our best to provide you access to the exhibition, wherever capacity allows.

Page loading time

The tickets page can sometimes be slow in loading. We ask you for your patience. If the page takes longer than usual to load, we recommend trying a different browser: Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Safari. Different browsers can process the page differently.

Waiting on tickets by email

It might take a few minutes before your tickets are delivered to your email inbox. Because tickets might end up in your spam folder, we request you check this folder too.

You’ll receive your tickets by email within just minutes of purchasing online.
