During last weekends’ ‘No Tobacco Special’ at BODY WORLDS: The Happiness Project at least six visitors have decided to quit smoking on the spot. One in five visitors took on the challenge to get the carbon monoxide levels in their lungs tested by our partner Luchtsignaal. Medical students from the AMC/UvA have been present all weekend to measure blood pressure levels and lung volume.
Plastinates of lungs from a non-smoker and a smoker were not only on display, visitors could actually touch them. The difference between both lungs was explained by our exposition guide Jorn.
